Who are Arty Party Cakes?

Arty Party Cakes is a home-based business, located in Weymouth, Dorset - run by husband and wife team, Ian and Anna-Marie. We are proud to say our premises recently achieved a GOLD Food Hygiene Award from Weymouth & Portland Borough Council. All of our staff have achieved a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene Award. Why do I need a consultation?

We will need to discuss the number of guests, the cake size(s), decoration, colours and themes. Consider gathering pictures of any examples you may have seen and colour swatches of dresses, flowers or centre pieces you have chosen. You may also wish to consider how your cake will be displayed and we also offer a stand hire service.

What types of cakes do you make?

Traditional and modern styles: Multiple or single tiers: Cupcake towers: Mini cakes. These can be made from a variety of flavours, most commonly, Madeira: Chocolate: or Luxury Fruit. We are happy to use a combination of different cake types in multi-layered cakes.

Can I change my design?

The information you supply is used to create a masterpiece specifically for you. Small changes can be made to the decoration but regretably once an order is confirmed, we cannot change the overall design or ingredients.

What ingredients do you use?

Wherever possible we try to use local suppliers for our ingredients, subject to availability. We can cater for all your needs, including fat-free, organic and non-allergenic options - please ask. However please note, we do use ground, chopped and whole nuts in some recipes.

How long before my event should I order?

Ideally, you should consider ordering your cake approximately 3 months before your event, to ensure time to design and make your cake and to book delivery on your special day.

How much will it cost?

Birthday cakes from £25.00 for a 7" round iced and decorated single tier, which is approximately 8-12 portions and is sufficient for most family partys. Full payment is required at the time of order.

Wedding cakes from £199.00 are usually larger, more detailed and multi-layered. As every cake is individually designed, we will send you a written quotation following your consultation. A 20% deposit is required when placing your order and final payment no later than 3 weeks prior to delivery.

Do you deliver?

Based in Weymouth, Dorset we cover a wide area of the southern counties and offer free delivery to venues within 30 miles of Weymouth. This includes Poole, Dorchester, Bridport, Sherborne, Yeovil, Bridport, Portland, Wareham and many surrounding villages. For deliveries further a field, please contact us for a quotation?
